By PetsScore is launching the world’s first Pet Referencing service for dogs and cats.
It aims to help people renting with a Pet, who constantly come up against a ‘no pets’ policy from Landlords and Letting Agents.
In the UK alone, there are 7.6 million people who have Pets and need to rent.
PetsScore is due to go live in August. When it launches it will allow Pet Owners to register their pets for free, list all the information a Landlord needs and then gather online references about that Pet.
Once a Pet Owner has references saved, PetsScore uses that data to create a ‘risk score’ for the Pet which,like human tenant referencing, it will supply to the Lettings industry.
Landlords and Letting Agents will be able to buy a PetsScore for as little as £1.50.
PetsScore hopes to add an insurance element to the platform at a later date.
This would enable tenants to offer landlords and letting agents a reference for their pooch or moggy but also insurance cover for any damage or extra cleaning caused by their pet.
The service will also be applicable to the Airbnb and the short lets sector.
So, a Pet Owner will be able to share their Pet’s Score with any vacation host, to make it easier to vacation with your Pet.

PetsScore will be able to be used by anyone around the world as company expands and so is a workable solution to the same problem across Europe and in markets like USA, Canada, Australia and Argentina.
