Following a continued period of growth, Leaders Romans Group (LRG) is set to bolster its finance services with an expansion of staff and capacity.
Its existing mortgage arm, Leaders and Romans Mortgage Services, will also be rebranded to Mortgage Scout, a service that has been in operation since 2003.
Mortgage Scout offers a variety of services to provide customers with expert financial advice and competitive mortgage deals, using its wealth of market experience and a longstanding connection with the Mortgage Advice Bureau to check over 12,000 mortgage deals with over 90 different lenders.
This move will give the group one universal mortgage brand across the UK.
It will also kickstart a period of expansion in this area, with the recruitment of new mortgage advisers to enhance the service capability over an 18-month period.
Mortgage Scout offers a dedicated place for customers to compare mortgage deals and covers mortgages for first-time buyers, the buy-to-let market, re-mortgaging and moving home.
Customers can benefit from a range of additional features, including a detailed overview of homeowners’ existing mortgage arrangements and how they compare with others currently available for upcoming renewals.
Launched in 2003, Mortgage Scout was acquired by LRG along with Gibbs Gillespie.
The estate agent previously oversaw the development and growth of the brand as it became a leading name in the London mortgage space, utilising the combination of finance and property expertise across the team.
Sarah Thompson, Managing Director of Mortgage Scout, comments:
“We are delighted to be rolling out Mortgage Scout, a trusted and respected name within the mortgage services sector.”
“It is an incredibly exciting development for us as we expand our property finance offering.”
“The ease of use of the Mortgage Scout tools means that customers can quickly research mortgage deals, calculate affordability and speak to experts immediately.”
